For all matters related to the processing of personal data, you can contact us at the e-mail address: chiacaff1922@gmail.com. You can also contact us in writing at the above-mentioned registered office address.

For your convenience, we have divided this document into two parts:
  1. Cookies and other technologies
  2. Other purposes of processing Store users' personal data

1. COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and other similar mechanisms to understand how users use our Website and for marketing purposes, including displaying ads to them in other places on the Internet.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file saved by a website on your computer, phone, or other device on which you browse the website. The cookie contains data about your use of that site.

Some cookies are essential for the operation of our Store and cannot be disabled.
In other cases, when you first visit our Website, we ask for your consent to install cookies. We do not use advertising or analytical cookies (or any other than necessary) without your consent.

What cookies do we use?

  1. Necessary cookies
    • These cookies are used for the proper functioning of the site. You cannot disable them, as disabling them would simply cause our site to not function correctly.
    • In this area, we use a tool that stores your privacy settings. It shows your consent or lack thereof for running specific types of cookies on our site.
    • Other necessary cookies on our Website are used for its proper operation and management, e.g., for making changes to the site and for launching tracking tools to which you have given consent.
  2. Statistical analysis of our Website
    • We use tools that collect analytical data, allowing us to understand how users use our Website. The data we receive from these tools does not give us information about a specific person known by name, but allows us to record various aspects of a user's use of the Website. We may aggregate and analyze this data statistically and then use it to make decisions about changes in our Store and/or in how we conduct advertising and marketing communications.
    • A list of analytical tools used on our Website, along with explanations: (1) who is the provider of the tool, (2) what exactly it is used for, (3) what data is collected within the tool – can be found in Appendix No. 1 to this policy.
  3. Functional cookies
    • Some cookies on our site are used to enable additional tools on the Store's site, such as chat, a product review and/or star module, the ability to recommend a product to a friend, the ability to display recently viewed products in our Store, etc.
    • A list of functional tools we use on the Website, along with explanations of what they are used for, can be found in the cookie consent management panel.

Legal issues regarding cookies

The legal basis for the Store's use of necessary cookies (indicated above in the section "What cookies do we use?") is our legitimate interest, i.e., the right to operate a Website supporting our business, and the necessity to maintain its security.
The legal basis for our use of other cookies is your consent.

In connection with our processing of your personal data via cookies, you have at all times the rights described in the section Your rights regarding data processing.

Our use of cookies, especially for advertising purposes, may involve so-called profiling. This means that we or marketing companies we use may create a user profile based on collected information (e.g., e-mail address, order history, device type, technology used, frequency of visits) and, based on this, make purchase predictions for the future. This allows us to decide what content (including ads) to display on our and other websites.

How long do cookies remain on the user's device?

It depends on whether they are "persistent" or "session" cookies. Session cookies, i.e., information necessary for browser functionalities to work properly, expire after the user session ends, i.e., each time you close our Website. Persistent cookies, which make using the site easier (e.g., remember selected resolution, content layout, user preferences, recently viewed products), will be stored by the browser longer and remain there until their expiration date, unless you remove them earlier using your browser's menu settings.

Cookies from third parties (i.e., analytical, advertising, and social media-related) are subject to their own privacy policies, to which we provide links in this policy.

APPENDIX NO. 1 TO THE PRIVACY POLICY OF THE STORE chiacaff
- LIST OF ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICAL TOOLS USING COOKIES

  1. ANALYTICAL COOKIES:
    1. We use Google Analytics
      • Information that Google Analytics collects about users includes, for example: how many times a user visits the site; which subpages are visited; date of the first and last visit; duration of the visit; the site from which the user accessed the site (source); browser used; clicked link; location in the world from which the user accesses the site, anonymized (shortened) IP address, etc.
      • Google assigns its own identifier (so-called Google ID) to individual users and collects on its servers data obtained from cookies from various websites. We – as the owner of the Website – may receive reports (statistics) from Google related solely to traffic on our Website. Of course, these reports only include people who have given consent on our Website for their visits to be recorded by Google Analytics.
      • Further detailed information about Google Analytics operation can be found at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245/bezpiecze%C5%84stwo-danych.

    2. Cookies of our Store software provider
      • The provider of the software that powers our Store – i.e., the owner of the shoper.pl platform – places cookies on our Website to collect aggregate information about how customers use online stores (opened subpages and time spent on them, viewed products, clicks on the Store's site, analytical information about purchases, e.g., conversion rates).
      • This data is used to create aggregate reports for e-store owners, containing general (non-personal) information, e.g., which products interest customers of a given store, in which periods of the year there is increased traffic or sales in stores, etc. Thanks to this, sellers (including us) can improve their stores and optimize sales processes.
      • Full information on this topic can be read in the Cookie Policy for visitors to Shoper stores.
